Loveland Rural Fire Protection District - Station No8

Project Location: Drake, Colorado

Project Description: This Fire Station is a two story 4400 SF volunteer station for the Loveland Rural Fire Protection District. The station contains a 3-bay apparatus garage along with meeting rooms, offices, storage space and a decontamination facility. The second floor is designed for future conversion to sleeping rooms. Stucco, stone and timbers were used to create a mountain-style architectural character. The facility was constructed by Larry Heckel, a fire-fighter with LRFPD and a Loveland General Contractor.
